Posting your first request on AlloPro, step by step

Before you start

You only need three things: knowing which service you're looking for, your postal code, and ideally one or two photos of the work to do. Posting is free and without commitment — receiving quotes doesn't oblige you to anything.

The assistant's 5 steps

1. Service: type what you're looking for in the search (e.g. “gutters”) or browse the categories. One request = one service; for two services, post two requests.

2. Description: a clear title, a precise description, and up to 3 photos. See our guide “Describe your request well” for the right reflexes.

3. Location: city and postal code (to find workers in your area) plus the exact work-site address — it stays hidden and is only shared with the worker after payment in trust.

4. Availability: urgent, fixed date (with a time if needed) or flexible (days, week or month). Flexible often attracts better prices.

5. Summary: review everything, then publish. Verified workers in your area are notified immediately.

What happens next?

Track your quotes in “My requests”: the bell 🔔 notifies you of every update. Compare profiles (7-criteria ratings), negotiate price and date if needed, then accept the offer that suits you — payment in trust starts the next phase.
